Welcome
St. Matthew the Apostle is a faith community of the Roman Catholic tradition. Located in Edison, NJ, our community is made up of people of many ages, races, ethnic and social backgrounds. We were established in 1952, and the parish community continues to be a community of people who seek to worship and serve God through prayer and service. Faith in the Public Square
The New Jersey Catholic Conference introduces "Sharing the Catholic Faith in the public Square" - an electronic network that will provide you with the latest communications from the bishops on Catholic teaching. The program will allow you to:
 
  • Receive information on issues that impact the church and society.
  • Track legistlative bills that deal with those issues.
  • Receive "Action Alerts" including messages that can be sent to public officials.
It's easy to join. Simply go to www.njcathconf.com and click on the TAKE ACTION button. Then click on "Join Our Action Network" and fill in the requested information. It will only take a few minutes and you will be automatically informed of the issues that impact the church and society plus have a vehicle to communicate to the decision makers and legislators.
