Altar Servers

Smiling faces of altar servers after they completed their vesting prayers in the sacristy just minutes before Easter Mass.
What is an Altar Server?
At St. Matthew's Church there are many boys and girls who assist the priest and deacon during Mass as altar servers. They help prepare for Mass, help set the altar, lead processions, and more. The older altar servers assist at weddings and funerals.
Any boy or girl member of our parish who goes to public or Catholic school and is in the 4th grade or higher is invited to serve.
