Welcome
St. Matthew the Apostle is a faith community of the Roman Catholic tradition. Located in Edison, NJ, our community is made up of people of many ages, races, ethnic and social backgrounds. We were established in 1952, and the parish community continues to be a community of people who seek to worship and serve God through prayer and service. Please browse our site to discover how our many experiences of worship and our many varied organizations and ministries might help you and your family grow in relationship with our Lord.

Fundzangle
Please go to supportstmatthew.com to support our parish. You may want to browse all aspects of this one-stop online site. It does a lot - more information will be presented over the next couple months.
What is this really? Click on "HOW IT WORKS" at the top of the supportstmatthew.com site to find out more. The funny name "Fundzangle" is the company with whom we contracted to provide the background machinery to make this possible. They contact the merchants and vendors, handle the financial information, and send us periodic checks.
Thank you for remembering your parish as you shop online. Remember - we don't ask you to buy anything you wouldn't anyway. Continue to shop online as you always do - just go through supportstmatthew.com first. Good luck with all your online shopping!
Faith in the Public Square
The New Jersey Catholic Conference introduces "Sharing the Catholic Faith in the public Square" - an electronic network that will provide you with the latest communications from the bishops on Catholic teaching. The program will allow you to:
- Receive information on issues that impact the church and society.
- Track legistlative bills that deal with those issues.
- Receive "Action Alerts" including messages that can be sent to public officials.
It's easy to join. Simply go to www.njcathconf.com and click on the TAKE ACTION button. Then click on "Join Our Action Network" and fill in the requested information. It will only take a few minutes and you will be automatically informed of the issues that impact the church and society plus have a vehicle to communicate to the decision makers and legislators.
